Today was a wonderful day! I was able to sleep in and enjoy the beautiful morning and then I got to baby-sit little Elin (my first niece on the Thompson side)! She is growing up fast so it was great to be able to play with her and hold her while she napped. Here is a video of a few days ago of her playing :]
Then I caught up on some Hulu shows, lol, and went into work to fill in for a sick co-worker. I usually am not too big of a fan of going in later in the day because you don't make as many tips and you have to do the end of the day cleaning but I was met with a wonderful surprise! Before my boss left she called me a wonderful woman and said that I took pride in my work-it truly did make my day. How amazing is it when someone compliments you on your work?! It does remind me though that I should continually do my best in all I do, whether or not I think someone will notice, because as Christians we are called to be hard and honest workers (1 Chronicles 28:20).
