Week four and high expectations...

David and I just returned from a visit with Mom and Grandmama. It was so nice to be home for a few days! Sleeping in was amazing and just lounging around catching up with Mama. Most everyone else was gone to the beach or busy so I really didn't end up doing much- which was great!

I have lots and lots of pictures to post, but it takes forever on my very slow office computer- hopefully I will at least get a few up from week one soon lol. I'm a bit behind.

Last week, which was week three, I didn't have Pio's. We have at least one or two weeks every summer when a massive church brings up its own counselor's and does their own program- which is interesting. It went fine though, I mean for me anyways because I was only here till Wednesday =). I worked the Tower most of the time, following in the Eddy family foot steps, and ran errands- it was a relaxing week since we didn't have to be in until 10:00 in the morning- AMAZING!!!

Now we are just beginning week four and are about half way through the summer-unbelievable! I only have about 22 kids in the Pio program this week. This should be great because we'll really be able to get to know the kids and be more involved rather than have 70 3rd-5th graders running around- a bit crazy to say the least. Having smaller groups also helps when doing crafts. Ever tried to explain how to make a Robin hood hat to 70+ kids and how spreading glitter glue in your neighbor's hair is not God honoring, with a straight face? It is harder than it sounds- and slightly humorous. David is in Pio's again and co-counseling with Brooks, it'll be great to see them work together! I know they'll be great! I am so proud of him and I know he'll be encouraged to have Brooks working a long side of him.

Hope every one's summer vacations are going great! I know most of you are going to the beach or just returning. Mom is at Leigh and Dave's and I'm excited that they'll get to spend a good amount of time with each other, plus it helps me not to worry about her (love you mom).
