A man came to buy Pecans today from our family, he honked obnoxiously as he pulled in the drive-way - What does he think we are, a drive-thru? Come on people this a home, there is a paper "Pecan" sign in the front yard not a Neon light that says- "PECANS TO GO!" Anyway, back to the point of the story. He asked for 3 pounds of.... PEECANS...like pee-can. It is pronounced Pe-con. It is a nut, not a can you pee in or a can full of peas. I rest my case.
