Just a Day at School

Here I sit, having gotten out of Biology lab 30 minutes early- always a nice thing.  I am freezing and huddled in a cold corner of the Webb Center.  I am currently procrastinating, something I find myself doing a lot lately.  I have papers looming over my head and yet, here I sit typing away on my almost forgotten blog.  Instead, I should be finishing my work cited page for my scientific paper on the molecular build of the Chickenpox virus.  Its hard to understand why I haven't finished it yet, isn't it?  I find that when people don't have anything else to say to you they ask about school, such an interesting topic, right?  To which I answer with a smile, "It's going."  I like certain aspects of school, like lunch.  No, I'm just kidding.  I enjoy my Biology lecture, shocking I know, and British Literature, when the professor isn't just lecturing.  Mostly though I just enjoy the people I have met here.  Even though I am almost half way through with my second year in college, I still stress over little things and put off papers till the last minute but I actually have learned some things, promise.  I've learned I can be responsible (and irresponsible)- I do get my work done and ask questions, I've learned that I am an adult and my professors expect me to conduct myself as such, I've learned that sometimes my professors don't care about me understanding the material as long as I past the tests, and finally I've learned that I'm not okay with just getting by.  School is tough, very tough, but its worth it.
