A Little Under The Weather...

I think the lack of having allergies when I was little has finally caught up with me. I feel like one of those Claritin commercials- like I'm in a fog. I woke up the other morning with a little sniffle and hoped it would clear up with lots of water and vitamins...no such luck. My head rather feels like its been ran over with a Big Rig. I think it must be the pollen. Hopefully it will start to clear up before this weekend- I'd hate to start Staff Training with a cold. The first week I'll be at TVR will just be just staff- which is really nice- but the only thing is we're put into rooms with old and new staff to get to know each other and I wont be able to move into single girl housing, where I'll be all summer, until the next week. Usually it's great to get to know everyone and help the new staff get used to the humble living of a summer staffer, but I hope I wont be a downer with this cold. I'm sure it will clear up soon though and I can get back to breathing normally lol. I hope to be posting pictures of my fellow bunk-mates and room this weekend- it's always really interesting to see how much stuff the new staff try to pack into one very small room with 4 or 5 other staffers. Due to the fact we have to pack for the whole summer it's hard to know what you'll need you're first time. Counselors, which I was my first two years, also have to be able to move everything easily because they change rooms every week. Thank goodness I will be in single girl housing this summer because I remember being new and trying to pack my whole closet into one suitcase, too funny.

Awww! I hate allergies. Have you tried drinking Airborne? It worked for us. I hope you have fun training!
