Happy Valentines Day

Can you believe it's already February the 14th? This year is flying by! Not that I am complaining, this school semester is quite a bit harder than last semester so if it goes quickly it won't dissapoint me.

I hope y'all are having an amazing Valentines Day- I know I am! First off, I was able to see the little snow flakes we received last night, and also had the thrill of scraping them off my windsheild this morning (*note to self-buy a scraper, NCSU liscence plate does NOT work). I was hoping and praying last night it would be enough to call off school- or atleast delay it, but to no avail. This morning Dad gave Mom tulips and David and I got a little bit of candy, its always fun. Although by the time I received my Valentines candy David had no clue- I have no idea why he wouldn't want to get up at 6:00 to eat breakfast with me, lol. Oh and Leigh we did receive your Valentines- thanks a lot they were really cute! I also received a nice little gift from my Cultural Studies teacher, but before you get carried away it was just a test grade! I was sure I had bombed the test last week but it turns out, with the extra credit I did, it was a B! I was very excited to say the least.

Today after school I will be leaving to go back to TVR for a bit. It turns out they have over 200 people coming up to camp and only about 6 staff members. I wasn't going to be able to go because of gas money issues but it turns out a couple of my friends are going to swing by and split the gas with me! I was hoping to be able to visit Leigh this weekend but since I will only be paying for a third of the gas for camp I'll have to drive up and see her another time (miss you Leigh!). Who knows maybe I'll se a little snow while I'm there, I don't think we'll really see anymore here at home.

Well it looks like this second blog is coming to an end (y'all should be thankful two blogs in one week will be my record). My Sociology homework is calling and then it's off to Spanish II- I wince at the name of that class, I just keep praying God will just one day miraculously make me understand spanish...hasn't worked yet but I'm not giving up!

Don't eat too much chocolate and be thankful for your loved ones this chilly Valentines Day!

what? No flowers or candy from you "non" boyfriend??Seriously. He better be giving you something while you're up there (I guess you'll be seeing him tonight, still being V day and all). Well, I wish I could see you this weekend (hey--your friends wanna chill on Sat. or Sun. afternoon in A-vill????) but I love you anyway. I hope you have a WONDERFUL Valentines ;-)
